Coach Tom Herman was hired by Texas in late November to bring change to the Longhorn football program. There has been much discussion in football at all levels in the off season about “culture.” Interviewed recently on ESPN’s First Take, Herman talks about coaching at Texas, his caste system of rating players academically and socially off the field, chicken and waffles and why he kisses his players before games. Coach Herman’s views are a little different on the culture issue and worth a few minutes of every coach’s time. You can see his interview below.
