The AHSAA Summer Conference Football School will open this Wednesday, July 19th with Paul Benefield of Fyffe High School and Phil Lazenby of Bayside Academy speaking at 8:00 AM. The convention is scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday at the Renaissance Montgomery Convention Center. The clinic will include speaking presentations from some of the best high school football coaches in our state and will conclude early Tuesday afternoon with Hoover’s Josh Niblett speaking on Culture.
Following the clinic on Thursday, all head varsity and middle football coaches can attend the rules clinic at 2:30 PM to complete the rules requirement set by the AHSAA. The annual North South All Star Football Game will be held at Thursday at 7:00 PM at Cramton Bowl.
The ALFCA will hold its annual Coaches Social at the Embassy Suites on Wednesday afternoon at 5:15 PM. The ALFCA Board of Directors will hold its summer meeting Thursday morning at 10:15 PM at the Embassy Suites Hotel.
