ALFCA’S HIGHEST HONOR

Lifetime Achievement Award

Honoring a lifetime of leadership, service and influence.

THE MEASURE OF A LEGACY

More Than a Record

A coaching career cannot be fully measured by a record, a trophy case or the number of seasons spent on a sideline. Its truest measure is found in the people and places a coach leaves better than he found them.

The ALFCA Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes a body of work, a life of service and a lasting contribution to high school football in Alabama. These coaches strengthened programs, mentored generations of young people and built traditions that continued long after their final season.

Leadership. Service. Legacy. These are the standards by which this honor is measured.

Coach Perry had a passion and love for each of us. To play for Coach Perry was to know high expectations, to see a man walk daily with the Lord, and to help us chase the gifts that God gave us.
