The roster for the 31st annual Alabama Mississippi All Star Game will be released by position this week.
The defensive linemen were released on Monday. 6’2, 300 pound Coynis Miller of Jackson Olin leads the big guys on defense. He will be joined on the Alabama defensive line by KaDarian Hill (6-2, 285) of Eufaula, Ole Miss commit Allen Love (6-3, 280) of Huffman, Marese McBride (6-2, 260) of Daphne and Timaje Porter (6-3, 325) of Theodore. Miller just recently committed to Auburn. The Alabama roster is comprised of the best senior players in the state.
The game will be played at the University of Southern Mississippi on December 16th. The Alabama team won 25-14 last year and holds a 22-8 lead in the series. The Alabama coaching staff includes head coach Steve Smith (Piedmont) and assistants David Faulkner, Enterprise (offensive coordinator); Paul Benefield, Fyffe (defensive coordinator); Brent Hubbert, Maplesville; Larry Strain, Handley; Rueben Nelson, Ramsay; Rob Carter, Beauregard; Jeremy Perkins, Austin; James Blanchard, Piedmont (scout coach); Billy Odom, Michael Summers and Randy White (administrative coaches).
