Whataburger Teams Up with the Alabama Football Coaches Association

The Alabama Football Coaches Association is proud to announce a new partnership with Whataburger.

Since 1950, Whataburger has been committed to supporting youth sports and academic excellence at all levels when the very first restaurant opened in Corpus Christi, Texas. Whataburger’s founder, Harmon Dobson, supported local Little League teams, and now more than 70 years later, the spirit of competition and investing in our local communities continue to be important values. To keep the tradition alive, Whataburger is teaming up with the Alabama Football Coaches Association as the exclusive quick service restaurant sponsor.

“At Whataburger, we believe team sports bring people together and know how important coaches are to the students’ overall success,” said Jeff Altman, Director of Sponsorships, Marketing & Innovation. “Whether it’s at one of our restaurants or under the stadium lights, we look forward to getting to know the coaches and players right here in Alabama through this new partnership with the Alabama Football Coaches Association.”

One way Whataburger aims to make it easier for coaches and teachers to focus on their teams is through the Whataburger School Dining program. The program is easy, and there’s three great reasons to participate:

  1. You don’t have to pay with cash. When you order through the School Dining Program, you can pay with cash, credit card or invoice.

  2. You’ll save a bundle. Whataburger’s School Dining Program offers five different menu items all at a discounted price. Plus, there is only a 10-order minimum.

  3. If you need to eat and run, just call and give us a heads up. Call ahead to confirm when you’ll be at the restaurant and how many people you are bringing. Whataburger will be ready to get you fed and back on the road in no time.

For more information on the program and to fill out the online application, please visit Whataburger.com and look under the “Dining Programs” tab on the Community page. Whataburger is committed to great service, and the Group Dining program is just one way for Whataburger to help coaches and teachers concentrate on bringing home the W.
