New ALFCA Board Members Elected

Two of the state’s finest assistant coaches have been elected to serve terms on the ALFCA Board of Directors.  Two assistant positions are elected every two years and the districts rotated. The election was held at the general meeting of the ALFCA at the convention in January.

Representing District 7 is Russellville’s Tony Buckhalter.  Coach Buckhalter is in his 15th year with the Golden Tigers where he serves as running backs coach and head strength coach.  Coach Buckhalter previously coached at Starkville (Ms) High School.  He was a four year letterman on the Mississippi State University football team at running back.
