ALFCA Executive Director Jack Wood and ALFCA President Terry Curtis will address the crowd at the AHSAA Summer Conference on Wednesday, July 17th at 9:00 AM. The conference is being held at the Renaissance Hotel in Montgomery.
Wood will speak to the coaches about Straight Line Recruiting, a program designed to keep the high school head coach at the forefront of the college recruiting process.
Curtis is a member of the AHSAA Central Board as well as President of ALFCA. He has attended some national meetings representing the state and will talk to the football coaches about some of the important football issues facing our state as well as the National Federation of High Schools that governs the high school athletic programs throughout the country.
The session promises to be very informative for all football coaches next Wednesday.
The football rules session, required by the AHSAA, is scheduled for Thursday at 2:30 PM.
