The opening act of the 14th annual Alabama Football Coaches Convention at the Embassy Suites in Montgomery promises to deliver a punch.
The convention kicks off on Thursday, January 24th at 5:30 PM. After Executive Director Jack Wood and President Terry Curtis welcome the membership, Duke’s head coach David Cutcliffe will speak at 5:40 PM. Cutcliffe is a graduate of the University of Alabama and former high school coach in Birmingham.
At 6:50 Mississippi State’s head coach Joe Moorhead and his offensive coordinator Luke Getsy will speak. Following Coach Moorhead, Coach NIck Saban of the Alabama Crimson Tide will speak. Coach Saban will bring another member of the Tide staff with him to the convention.
At around 9:20 PM following Coach Saban’s presentation, the annual ALFCA Social will take place right there at the Embassy Suites for all ALFCA members, sponsors and presenters.
