Nine Alabama High Schools Listed in High School America's Top 300 Teams

Thompson is ranked number 16 in the nation according to the preseason High School Football America poll. Nine teams from the state are ranked in the poll's top 300 teams.

In the top 300 list, Florida led with 53 schools and Texas was next with 43 teams in the rankings. Georgia and California tied for third place with 29 ranked schools. Ohio was fifth with 21 schools and Louisiana came in number six with 15 ranked teams. North Carolina and Tennessee had 9 and 11 ranked teams accordingly. Alabama was ranked number nine with 9 schools in the Top 300. Pennsylvania rounded out the top ten with 8 teams in the rankings.
