Losses last week slid some schools out of the ASWA Top Ten Poll but allowed ten other schools to show up for the first time. Theodore’s victory over Baker jumped the Bobcats all the way to #7 in the 7A poll. Oak Mountain made its first appearance in the same list at #9. The 6A listing welcomed Hartselle at #10. The 5A poll stayed the same, but Deshler at #9 and Wilson at #10 entered the 4A grouping. Hillcrest of Evergreen at #10 in 3A and Sulligent at #9 and Abbeville at #10 in 2A also made the polls for the first time. The 1A poll has a new # 9 in 2-1 Houston County and a new #10 in Isabella (2-0).
