A New Look for ALFCA & a Lasting Place of Honor

For the first time in more than a decade, the Alabama Football Coaches Association website has received a complete visual redesign.

While no new programs or sections have been added, the way our history is presented has been reimagined. Our goal was to create a cleaner, more modern experience while preserving the information and resources that have long served Alabama’s football coaches.

Most importantly, we wanted to give greater prominence to the coaches whose achievements represent the very best of our profession.

The redesigned Coach of the Year archive places each honoree and classification in a more distinguished setting. These coaches have earned the respect of their players, communities and peers, and their accomplishments deserve to be displayed with pride.

Our Lifetime Achievement Award recipients now receive an even more prominent presentation. Their profiles, photographs, stories and years of service come together in what we hope feels like a digital hall of fame—a permanent place where generations of coaches, players and fans can learn about the people who helped build high school football in Alabama.

This work will continue. We plan to regularly update and expand our award archives as additional photographs, stories, videos and historical information become available. Our goal is to ensure that every honoree is recognized properly and that the legacy of each coach is preserved for future generations.

Records and championships are an important part of every coaching legacy, but they tell only part of the story. The true influence of a coach can be found in the lives changed, the relationships built and the lessons carried far beyond the football field. This redesign was created to reflect that deeper impact.

Although the appearance of the website has changed, the purpose of the ALFCA remains the same: to serve Alabama’s football coaches, celebrate their accomplishments and preserve the history of our profession.
